Here's my boy! (Front row, far left) We had a great time this past weekend watching Whitton play baseball in Morrisonville, IL, with his all-star team, the Twins. Our county sent three teams to the tournament, the Red, White, and Whitton's team, the Blue Twins. There were 11 teams all together. We were happy to have Mike and Carol (Ben's parents), Andy (his brother), and Uncle Jim and Aunt Mary come for the day to help us cheer.
Our guys pulled out wins in their two Saturday games and did a great job. The second game in particular was very exciting as they rallied in the bottom of the last inning to overcome their deficit. Winning both games, they were seeded 3rd for the tourney Sunday. We drove the hour and three-quarters back down Sunday afternoon. So much fun! At the end of the "given" 5 innings, the teams were tied 18-18! (Lots of runs due to less-than-perfect fielding on both sides.)After the extra inning, our boys were down 22-25. It was very sad for all and tears streaked many of the boys' faces. But, they did a great job and did have fun. Whitton had many great plays and hits. We love him!!!

Looking at your adoption timeline, I'm impressed with the way you guys don't let grass grow under your feet. On balance, you seem to have done some major step toward the adoption about every week or two.
It's just that there are so many steps!
It's clear that this has been your part-time job for quite a while. I'm sure you can't wait to hold your new little one.
