We Passed Court!!!!!

We're so happy to announce that our case was set before an Ethiopian court and judge in the early hours of this morning (our time), and by God's grace, we were looked on with favor. With this
EZEKIEL EYASU officially became a RICE and part of our family! What a journey this has been. Since Ezekiel is legally ours now, we can finally show you his photos. We got these with our November Update the day before Thanksgiving. Ezekiel is 2 1/2 years old, about 28 pounds and 33 inches tall...a little guy. I'll post some earlier photos (from Sept and Oct) later tonight.
We should be able to go pick him up in about a month!!! What a way to bring in the new year!
More soon.

Candace Hatchet gave us your blog and said we had to check it out. I am not sure how she knows you, I think through a family member of yours....
We adopted our Samuel Mussie over two years ago from Ethiopia and have been blessed over and over. Congratulations to you and God bless this next stage of your journey in bringing your son home!
Last night we had a get together with our son and two of his fellow Ethiopian-American pals. The three litte guys made cookies and had a great time. It was beautiful to see three healthy, happy, wonderfully adjusted Ethiopian boys running in the kitchen. This day will come for you and we look forward to sharing it with you on the blog world!

SO SO SO thrilled for you!!! Thanking God in his wisdom, who has brought you and Ezekiel together as a family. I am especially thankful that this huge event took place on Anna's birthday, along with other big events for our family: my brother got full custody of his son, and my dad made it through another procedure on his brain tumor. Not sure what all that means, but I am enjoying all of this news! Much love to you! Please let me know if there is anything else (in addition to praying) we can do to help as you prepare for Ezekiel to come home.
