We're Coming, Ezekiel!!!

Here we go, everyone! We had been waiting to announce this news until we had a definite departure date, but we just can't contain it anymore! On Wednesday, December 9th, we found out that we have Concrete Travel Dates of JANUARY 2-9!!! However, concrete doesn't really mean concrete that has totally dried, evidently, because we may be travelling a few days earlier than the 2nd, like maybe the 30th or 31st, in order to visit Ezekiel's home area and the orphanage where he stayed for a short time.

But, either way, this is two weeks or less away now and we have a kazillion details to address before we get on that plane. I'll write more soon on said details. :D Right now, we're just trying to pull together clothes, a small travel medicine chest, needed paperwork, crisp dollars, gifts for nannies, diapers, toys, blankets, a converter, camera equipment, calling cards, snacks, travel toilet paper, antibactierial wipes, flash light, sippy cups. You know, the norm. :D

We're happy to report that Whitton has now slept in his completely new bedroom for two nights and it looks AWESOME! It's totally wonderful and now we need to get Ezekiel's room put together. So many have helped in this endeavor and our gratitude can't be contained. It's been so fun to prepare for this new addition to our lives.

All of this means that we will meet our son on Monday, January 4th, and take him with us (Gotcha Day), Lord willing, on Tuesday, the 5th!!! It won't be long now.

I so love this!!! We continue to pray and be excited with you. I'm particularly praying right now for all four of your kids to adjust well to one another and be exceptionally loving, and for you and Ben to be even more supportive of one another.

Happy Gotcha Day here in a couple of weeks. You must be thrilled. We'll look forward to meeting Ezekiel someday - maybe in LaPorte when our families are both there for some reason or another. Well done! Jim
